This policy explains how Northfield Journal handles personal data.
Data you give us
- Contact form: name, email, optional phone and your message, used to reply to you.
- Job applications: name, email, optional phone, location, profile link, your message and an optional resume, used to assess your application. Resumes are stored privately and are only available to authorised staff.
- Newsletter: email address and optional first name and topics. We send a confirmation email first and every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link.
Data collected automatically
We keep short-lived security logs and count page views without storing your IP address in readable form.
Third parties
Forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which processes data under Google's privacy policy. Optional analytics, advertising and embedded video providers are loaded only if you allow them in the cookie preferences. Browser notifications are sent through your browser's push service only after you switch them on.
Retention
Form entries and attachments are deleted after the retention period set by the website owner. You can ask us to delete your data sooner through the contact form.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
